"Agape, the love of each one of us for the other, from the closest to the furthest, is in fact the only way that Jesus has given us to find the way of salvation and of the Beatitudes."
Pope Francis
The Gospel of Jesus Christ guides all faith formation, academic instruction, and community activity at Holy Family Catholic Academy. Our spirituality is rooted in the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church, and we benefit from the intellectual heritage established by the Catholic Church through its support and development of education and academic inquiry. HFCA students attend mass weekly, every Friday at 8:00am.
Faith Formation
Pre-K and Kindergarten students have daily instruction in faith, and Christian faith and virtue is reinforced throughout daily curriculum. During the first semester of the school year, when these young students are ready to sit through a regular Mass, they join the rest of the student body at Friday morning Mass. Older students sit with them to help them learn how to participate in the celebration.
Our 1st and 2nd grade students receive preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and receiving their First Eucharist. For all of our students who have made their first Sacrament of Reconciliation, there are regular times set during the Liturgical Seasons of the Year for students to receive this sacrament during the school day.
Our 7th and 8th grade students are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation which they receive in the 8th grade.
