Spelling Bee

Each year, HFCA 5th through 8th grade students are invited to compete in a school wide spelling Bee. During the Bee, students are asked to spell a broad selection of words with a varying degree of difficulty. The top two finishers of the HFCA Spelling Bee then qualify to compete in a diocesean wide Spelling Bee in which students from other Catholic Schools come together to try and win the top spot of being the best speller in the Diocese of Dallas Catholic Schools. 

Each year, the HFCA competition is held in early December in the Parish Hall.
