My name is Maleli Oropesa Paniagua and I am originally from Veracruz Mexico. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Dallas and earned my Masters in Education and Administration from Grand Canyon University. I have been in education for 35 years and feel that God has placed me here for a purpose. I have been very proud to take an active role in preparing children academically and spiritually to become successful members of the church and community. I feel that the values that I was taught from my Catholic education since childhood inspired me to serve God and others. Throughout the years I was very active in my parish in the youth group coordinator, parish council president, and choir. I was also a catechist for 25 years.
I love music, play the guitar, and presently direct a Sunday mass choir in my parish. I am looking forward to this school year and the new adventures it may bring.
