I am so excited to start my 11th year in teaching. I became a teacher after working many years in Corporate America and then spending nine years at home with my three boys. When they started in Pre-K, I became a room mom and a board member for our school. I enjoyed it so much that when my children moved to elementary school, I continued to volunteer (I was a room mom and a founding member of our local PTA). One of the teachers told me that I should start getting paid because I was at school so much. This inspired me to become a sub, I loved it and decided I wanted my own class. I went back to school to become a certified teacher and I haven't looked back.

 

I've always worked in Catholic Schools, first in second grade and then nine years in Pre-K 4. This year I am very excited to start my new challenge in Kindergarten! I thank God every day for the blessings he has given me and my family. I look forward to many more years at HFCA.
